Suburban Seattle Apartment Complex Commands $38M
June 20, 2008

The Hearthstone at Merrill Creek, a 220-unit apartment property in Everett, Wash., has recently come under new ownership. UDR Inc. took the gated community off the hands of Security Properties in a deal valued at $38 million. Occupying a 14-acre parcel at 1901 Merrill Creek Parkway, the Hearthstone sits within close proximity to a Boeing Co. facility and about a half hour outside of Seattle. Security Properties relied on  CB Richard Ellis to market the eight-year-old complex and seal the deal with UDR.
