Venture West Arranges Loan on Ralphs Supermarket in Santa Monica

Venture West Funding Inc. has arranged a $17 million mortgage loan on a Ralphs retail center in Santa Monica, Calif. The center is located at 1644 Cloverfield Boulevard and Ralphs Supermarket is the single-tenant with a 55,000-square-foot building. Venture West Funding arranged the financing through Washington Mutual Bank for affiliates of Robinson Properties Group.

Los Angeles-based Maguire Properties Inc. has closed the disposition of Main Plaza, selling the 607,000-square-foot trophy office complex in Irvine, Calif., to Shorenstein Properties L.L.C for $211 million including the assumption of $161 million of project level financing.
