The hotel at 10740 Wilshire Boulevard in Los Angeles, Calif., has entered into a new league with its recent $25 million makeover. The lodging facility is now the Hotel Palomar Westwood, a boutique hotel with 267 guestrooms on the top eight floors of a 19-story structure, with parking on floors two through five; a fitness center is on the sixth floor and public spaces at ground level. Originally developed in 1972, the property opened as a Holiday Inn and later emerged into a DoubleTree Inn, and finally, the Westwood Hotel before the most recent transformation. Property owner Behringer Harvard tapped Ginsler to orchestrate the design.
