Sunrise Senior Living has revealed plans to open the Stratford at FlatIrons, an independent living community that will be located approximately 15 miles from Denver in Broomfield, Colo. Carrying the address of 400 Summit Blvd. the new property will sit in the trendy FlatIrons area of the city, and will offer the full-service active senior living amenities that fall under the Stratford brand. Among the property's features will be a 65-seat theatre, a fitness center, a library, an art studio, a game room and a business center. As is customary with the brand, the community will also encompass a rehabilitation center and assisted living accommodations. Sunrise plans to make FlatIrons available to new residents in May 2009.
