Work Commences on 42,000SF Office-Research Structure in Mesa

Ground has broken for a new 42,000-square-foot office/biomedical research building at Arizona Health & Technology Park, a 50-acre compound in Mesa, Ariz., featuring biomedical R&D facilities, medical office structures and specialty hospitals. The Alter Group is behind the development of the two-story structure. It will be the fourth building the company has constructed at the park, which is being developed as an alliance between Alter and the Mesa campus of A.T. Still University of Health Sciences. CB Richard Ellis has been charged with marketing space at the project.

With construction starting earlier this year on Park Place, a mixed-use development in the Phoenix suburb of Chandler, Ariz., developer Cybert Hall Partners has gained $65.2 million in financing for the project. Buchanan Street Partners negotiated the financing package on behalf of Cybert Hall.
