Tight Money May Kill Pair of Phoenix Developments

Two of the Phoenix, Ariz.-based projects may fall prey to the financial woes of Mortgages Ltd., The Arizona Republic reported. At stake is the $100 million Hotel Monroe renovation, and a proposed Jackson Street entertainment district land deal. Both are now looking for alternative financing, according to the paper.
