Building owners in the city of Houston will take Earth Day as an opportunity to dim their lights and take a bow to greener business. "Lights Out Houston" is a collaboration between the Greater Houston Partnership, the City of Houston, Central Houston Inc., and CenterPoint Energy Inc.

Lights Out Houston will take place in the city's downtown and adjacent areas the weekend of April 25, according to the Houston Business Journal. More than 40 million square feet of business space will have most lights off during that time.
