Amazon Leases 513,000-SF Warehouse Outside of Phoenix
Aug 22, 2008

In an effort to accommodate increasing demand, Amazon.com recently leased a 513,000-square-foot warehouse in Goodyear, Ariz., from Duke Realty. Located at 16920 W. Commerce Dr. in the 250-acre Goodyear Crossing Industrial Park about 20 minutes west of Phoenix, the newly developed Goodyear Two building will serve as the online purveyor's fulfillment center--its second in the State of Arizona. Amazon opened the doors of its first such facility, a 600,000-square-foot warehouse in Phoenix, last year. The Goodyear center, which will create over 600 full-time jobs, is scheduled to be up and running later this quarter.
