The commercial real estate market in Dallas is considered to be in boom, not bust, times. That's according to commercial real estate executives who met in the city this week, as reported by the Dallas Morning News. "This is one of the few areas of the country experiencing (such positive conditions)," Urban Land Institute chairman Todd Mansfield said at the group's gathering on Thursday, as quoted by the Morning News. "For most of us outside this area, the immediate outlook is not as bright."
The gathering, which comprised nearly 3,000 commercial industry players, provided an opportunity to discuss Dallas' bright side, which is evidenced by increasing employment growth as well as heightened construction activity.
