Work Commences on Central Florida's First LEED-CS Gold Office Complex

Construction has kicked off on the first building at Discovery TechCenter II, a two-structure 118,400-square-foot office/flex-tech property at 2600 Discovery Dr. in Orlando's Central Florida Research Park. Developed by Boston-based Taurus Investment Holdings L.L.C., TechCenter II will be the first LEED-CS Gold-certified office complex in Central Florida. Building One will contain 62,500 square feet of space, and will feature a sustainable design that will allow for an annual 8 percent in energy savings per-year compared to standard structures.
