Rockefeller Group Business Centers Inc. has become the first business to commit to space on the tenant roster at Ponce de Leon Towers, a 215,000-square-foot office project in Coral Gables, Fla. Rockefeller, a provider of staffed executive suites and offices, signed a long-term lease with developer The Allen Morris Co. for an entire 25,000-square-foot floor at the 16-story building. Ponce de Leon Towers will sit at 2801 Ponce de Leon Blvd., within the seven-acre, mixed-use Old Spanish Village development that is presently in the construction phase. Allen Morris plans to break ground on its premier office building early next year, with an anticipated completion date during the first quarter of 2011. Allen Morris relied on internal brokers to orchestrate the lease transaction, while the tenant turned to CB Richard Ellis for representation. Financial terms of the lease agreement have not been disclosed; however, space on the very top floor of Ponce de Leon Towers is being marketed at $42 per-square-foot, according to commercial real estate industry information provider LoopNet Inc.
