Louisiana Beer Distributor Expands Westward

Though Crescent Crown Distributing sustained $18 million in damage after Hurricane Katrina struck its New Orleans headquarters in 2005, its expansion into Arizona means that the beverage supplier is now on track to becoming the largest employer in the town of Surprise.

Crescent Crown broke ground on its second East Valley facility last month. Those operations are slated for the corner of Dysart Road and Sweetwater Avenue in Surprise. Its central facility is in Phoenix, and the company expects to build a third Valley facility within the next four to six years, according to the Arizona Republic.

Developed by Dawgwood Hotels L.L.C., the 69-room lodging property sits 30 miles from downtown Atlanta at 305 Molly Lane, and marks the 25th Microtel property to hit the State of Georgia.
Parkway Properties Sells Town Point Center

Parkway Properties Inc. closed the sale of the Town Point Center office property in Norfolk, Va. Town Point Center, which is located in the Downtown Norfolk submarket, is a 131,000-square-foot property that is 97 percent occupied.
