Hard Rock International has revealed plans to open a Hard Rock Hotel in Atlanta. The Hard Rock Atlanta will be the centerpiece of a mixed-use development including--in addition to 270 hotel rooms--30 luxury residences and a flagship retail and entertainment complex. To be located in Downtown Atlanta near the Georgia Aquarium, the property will break ground in mid-2008, with opening expected in late 2010. Hard Rock International will partner with Luckie Street Hotel Partners--a consortium of local developers--to develop the project.
