Mediaedge has taken a 160,335-square-foot lease at 825 7th Ave. in Manhattan, New York City, according to CB Richard Ellis Inc., which arranged the lease. Mediaedge is part of GroupM within parent company WPP. The media buying and planning firm extended its 123,000-square-foot-lease on floors two to seven. It also acquired an additional 30,700 square feet on the 8th and 9th floors, which Mediaedge will sublease from International Marketing Group for four years and then have a lease directly with building owner s Edward J. Minskoff Equities and Vornado Realty Trust. Gregory Tosko and Mary Ann Tighe of CBRE negotiated the deal with Bruce MacAffer, WPP’s senior director of real estate.
