RSM McGladrey Leases 164,771 SF in Manhattan

CB Richard Ellis arranged a long-term, 164,771-square-foot lease renewal and expansion at 1185 Avenue of the Americas in New York City on behalf of RSM McGladrey Inc., a division of H&R Block.  The landlord, SL Green Realty Corp. iwas represented internally. RSM McGladrey currently occupies floors 4, 5, 6, 8 and 19 and through the expansion will also occupy the 7th floor in the fall.  The firm consolidated and disposed of its space at 750 Third Avenue.

Allied Partners' Hadar Busted for Drugs
According to a report in the New York Daily News, Eric Hadar, CEO of Allied Partners, was busted for drugs, including cocaine, Oxycontin and Xanax, He was stopped while driving erratically Friday on the Saw Mill River Parkway in New York and is due to make a court appearance on two felony counts today in Westchester, N,Y., the paper stated. His real estate firm bought the Citigroup Center on Lexington Ave. for $725 million in 2001.
