Commercial Developer Joins LIPA Board

A commercial real estate developer has joined the Long Island Power Authority's Board of Trustees. X. Cristofer Damianos has been appointed to the LIPA Board, giving the commercial community a voice at the utility.

Damianos, a principal with the Smithtown-based Damianos Realty Group as well as a member of the Association for a Better Long Island, was officially appointed by Gov. Eliot Spitzer to a term that runs until August 2009.
