Habitat for Humanity to Build M-F Project in Brooklyn

A block on Atlantic Avenue in Ocean Hill-Brownsville, Brooklyn, N.Y., will generate almost $34.5 million in economic stimulus, thanks to the affordable condominiums that Habitat for Humanity - New York City is building on the site. The project will comprise of 41 units of affordable condos and is expected to generate approximately $3 for every dollar invested in the $12 million project.

$167M Construction Loan in Place for Brooklyn M-F Project

Forest City Ratner Cos. has closed on a $167 million construction financing deal for 80 DeKalb, a 365-unit apartment project in Downtown Brooklyn. The New York State Housing Finance Agency approved the project for $109.5 million in tax-exempt bonds and an additional $27.5 million in taxable bonds.
