Macklowe Properties has announced that it has closed on $329 million of new construction financing for 510 Madison Avenue, its 30-story glass office building now rising at the southwest corner of 53rd Street in the Plaza District of Manhattan. The financing was provided by the Union Labor Life Insurance Company and Deutsche Bank. The glass building, whose steel frame is already 8-stories high, is scheduled to open in October 2008, according to Macklowe president William Macklowe.
