ING Clarion Partners L.L.C., the North American investment management division of ING Real Estate, has leased 62,000 square feet at Metropolitan Center to travel retailer Hudson Group.

Hudson Group has been Metropolitan Center's tenant since 1995 and has agreed to a 10-year, 31,000-square-foot expansion and extension of its current 31,000-square-foot premises. The company will now occupy the entire ninth and eleventh floors of the building.

Cushman & Wakefield Inc. represented both the landlord, ING Clarion Partners, and the tenant in the transaction.

Situated at Exit 16W off the New Jersey Turnpike at the junction of Routes 3 and 120, Metropolitan Center is conveniently located 15 minutes from the Lincoln Tunnel, 10 miles from both Newark Liberty International Airport and Teterboro Airport, and minutes from dozens of restaurants and shopping at the Secaucus outlets and regional malls. Amenities include covered parking, cafeteria, fitness center, conference room, on-site dry cleaning, car wash and shuttle bus service to Secaucus Junction train station.

Adjacent to the property is the 427-room Sheraton Meadowlands Hotel & Conference Center, which recently underwent an $18 million renovation. The hotel also includes 30,000-square-foot conference center.

"We are glad to be continuing our relationship with ING Clarion and we look forward to expanding our business operations within the Metropolitan Center soon," Laura Samuels, vice president of corporate communications, at Hudson Group said in a release.
