Insurance Firm Snags 13,200SF at Raritan Plaza for Relocation

AmWINS Group Inc. has signed on to occupy 13,200 square feet at Raritan Plaza III, the class A office structure within Raritan center in Edison. The insurance brokerage firm committed to a long-term lease with property owner Ivy Equities, paving the way for its relocation from its current home in Edison to the top floor of the 180,000-square-foot six-story structure. AmWINS relied on real estate services firm Zimmel Associates for representation in the transaction, while Cushman & Wakefield Inc. stood in for the owner. The new lease brings the occupancy level at the property up to 95 percent.

KBS Real Estate Investment Trust II has acquired two of the six office buildings at Park Avenue at Morris County, a commercial office complex in Florham Park, N.J., in the Essex/Eastern Morris County submarket.
