The president of a Ridgewood, N.J.-based real estate and investment firm has given what is being called the largest-ever donation to a New Jersey hospital. David F. Bolger, the president of Bolger & Company, has donated $30 million to The Valley Hospital in Ridgewood.
Hospital president Audrey Meyers told The Record newspaper that the gift is "extraordinary" and will serve to benefit future generations of patients. "With this gift, his intention is to see that his philanthropy does the most good for the most people in our community."
