CBRE Promotes 4 to SVP

CB Richard Ellis has promoted Sacha Zarba, Doug Lehman, Andrew Sussman and Bill Mooney to senior vice president.  They were previously first vice presidents.
 
Lehman has represented numerous clients in complex sales and leasing transactions during his 11 years with CBRE.  He recently arranged Deutsche Bank’s $1.2 billion sale-leaseback of 60 Wall St. and the $2.6 billion disposition of Hudson Waterfront Associates’ offshore entities, which owns a 70 percent controlling interest in 1290 Avenue of the Americas in New York and Bank of America Tower in San Francisco, collectively totaling 3.8 million square feet.  

Mooney is the leader of CBRE’s transaction management practice in the Tri-State  region. He is responsible for business development and account management working with clients including WPP, Siemens, Walt Disney, Medco, TIAA-CREF and McGraw Hill. Mr. Mooney has been with the firm for 11 years. Prior to joining CBRE, he was a senior real estate manager for the Metropolitan Transportation Authority’s real estate department in the New York area.

Sussman specializes in acquisition for financial services, law and entertainment firms.  Recent transactions include AIG’s assumption of Goldman Sachs’ 803,000-square-foot lease at 180 Maiden Lane, Viacom’s 394,000-square-foot lease at 345 Hudson St., Lehman Brothers’ 450,000-square-foot lease at 1271 Avenue of the Americas, and Simon & Schuster’s 292,000-square-foot lease at 1230 Avenue of the Americas.  He has also worked with Allied World Assurance, Baker Botts, CBS, Citadel, and Haynes and Boone.

Zarba has completed a wide range of transactions for firms in the financial services, education, law and advertising industries.  As a landlord representative, he recently completed a 20-year, 65,000-square-foot transaction for the ALCC on behalf of his client, Real Estate Capital Partners, at 229 West 36th Street. Zarba joined the firm in 2003.
