A Northeast real estate developer of office and research and development space is taking on an expansion project for its property at One Wayside Road in Burlington, Mass. The Gutierrez Co. has secured a $12.6 million loan to expand that space by 80,000 square feet.
One Wayside is located in the Burlington Office Park off Interstate 95. The building, which comprises a total of 200,000 square feet, is fully leased to Nuance Communications Inc. Gutierrez has developed more than 10 million square feet and currently manages a more than 3.8 million square-foot portfolio.
