Ten million dollars can open many doors -- or one particularly important one. This Friday, the Fenway Entrance of the Museum of Fine Arts in Boston will re-open after being closed for nearly 30 years. Newly named the State Street Corporation Fenway Entrance, the entrance's new moniker reflects a $10 million donation from the Boston-based State Street to help get the old door swinging again.

This is the first construction milestone of the museum project, which according to the Boston Business Journal includes adding a new American wing. Museum fundraisers have earned $456 million of their $500 million construction goal.
