Gourmet Grocer Expands In Chicago

A gourmet grocer is expanding its holdings in Chicago. Fox & Obel, which currently has one store in Streeterville, plans to open a second branch in the former Carson Pirie & Scott flagship store on State Street, according to Crain's Chicago Business.

The grocer will occupy 25,000 square feet over two floors of the building, which is currently known as the Sullivan Center. It was recently purchased by a group of local Chicago investors seeking to add more stores.
