Pfizer's Plymouth Township Building Selected for New Life Science Hub
Aug 1, 2008

The 57,500-square-foot building in Plymouth Township that was once a Pfizer laboratory is being eyed by a group of organizations--including the Michigan Economic Development Corp., Ann Arbor SPARK, the Greater Wayne Economic Development Corp. and a private foundation--for the site of the new Life Science and Innovation Center. Located about 25 miles from Detroit, the center will serve as a central resource facility for life sciences start-ups, housing office and state-of-the-art lab space, as well as pertinent business resources. Several tenants have been lined-up to take on space in the building, and if all goes as planned, a new non-profit entity will be created to acquire and operate the facility.
