Bally Total Fitness Selects Jones Lang as Service Provider

Jones Lang LaSalle has been selected by Chicago-based Bally Total Fitness to provide transaction management, project management and lease administration for its portfolio of 350 health clubs. The portfolio contains 11.5 million square feet of space in more than 40 markets throughout the United States.  Joe Brady, managing director of Jones Lang LaSalle’s Retail Outsourcing Services  practice, will manage the account and focus on transaction management.   Senior vice president Jim Colaianni will head up lease administration while Steve Pollard, managing director, will lead the project management assignment.

Originated by Wells Fargo for repurchase by Fannie Mae, the secured interest only loan has an all-in effective interest rate of about 6 percent and matures in 11.5 years, the first 10.5 of which will carry a fixed rate, with the final year carrying a floating rate.
