Heitman America Real Estate Trust, managed by Chicago-based Heitman, has taken a 1.9 million-square-foot warehouse portfolio in southwestern suburban Chicago from a partnership of Panattoni Development Co. The portfolio consists of four warehouse buildings developed by Panattoni between 2006 and 2008 in the Windham Lakes Southwest Business Park in Romeoville. Two of the four buildings are fully leased to Sears Holdings, Kimberly-Clark and Dann Dee Display Fixtures, a division of Leggett & Platt. The two newest buildings, completed in February, have 261,000 and 137,000 rentable square feet, respectively, and are currently available for lease. CB Richard Ellis Inc. will manage and lease the portfolio.
