The InterContinental Chicago O'Hare Hotel has made its debut in Rosemont, just minutes from Chicago O'Hare International Airport, and a stone's throw from the Donald E. Stephens Convention Center. Sited on a nearly four-acre parcel at the corner of River Road and Foster Avenue, the 556-room InterContinental O'Hare also encompasses 53,000 square feet of meeting and event space, and a 275-seat live entertainment venue. With the completion of the hotel, developed by the Harp Group at a cost of $180 million, Chicago gets its second InterContinental Hotels & Resorts property. Portfolio Hotels & Resorts, an affiliated entity of the Harp Group, is on board as manager of the new hotel.
