Closing the Door on Condos
May 8, 2008

In light of a less than stellar condominium market plagued by wary buyers, the doors of the sales center for Park 22, a 35-story luxury condominium tower planned for Center City, will shut on Friday, the Philadlephia Business Journal reports. However, the party will still go on to a certain extent, according to developer Dalia Shuster and project owner V&H Hotel associates; plans to tear down a segment of the Best Western Center City Hotel property at the site are still on tap. The Journal reported in February that the city's condo market had become saturated and that sales were on the downswing.
