The Baltimore Development Corp. has announced that the CityScape project will be moving forward now that Mayor Sheila Dixon has approved its recommendation for the $112.5 million mixed-use project. Cityscape will be built in the city’s CBD and will consist of a newly constructed approximately 585,000-square-foot, 30-story high-rise building. Thihs will contain 150 apartments, two leisure-stay hotels with a combination of 300 rooms--a 175-room Hyatt Place and a 125-room Hyatt Summerfield Suites--6,500 square feet of retail space, a spa and health club, and a 200-space parking garage.
