ING Real Estate Announces European Fund Appointments

ING Real Estate has made appointments to three of its European funds, the company said today.

Thierry de Wever has been appointed portfolio manager of ING Logistics Property Fund, replacing Eudes Berthelot who has transferred to ING Real Estate Select, the company's multi-manager business based in the UK. Wever joined the company's Paris office as portfolio manager of the ING Real Estate European Industrial Fund in 2006 and will continue to fulfil this role. He previously worked in investment management at BBL Brussels, ING Real Estate Belgium and developed ING Real Estate's Finance business in France.

Frédérique Weber has been appointed portfolio manager of ING Real Estate Office Fund and joined ING Real Estate in February this year. She has ten years of experience in the real estate industry having held investment management positions at Equity Estate BV and Jones Lang LaSalle.  

Leo Weidenaar has been appointed fund director of ING Logistics Property Fund Europe and fund director of ING Real Estate European Industrial Fund. Weidenaar joined ING Real Estate as fund director of the ING Real Estate Office Fund in 2005, which role he will continue to fulfil. He  has 15 years of experience in the logistics sector and held financial and operational positions at Nedlloyd, Danzas and DHL.

Wyndham to Open 20 Ramada Encore Hotels in South Korea
Parsippany, N.J.-based Wyndham Hotel Group has made a move to increase the visibility of its Ramada properties in South Korea with the signing of an exclusive agreement with Seoul-headquartered AT Hotels Management to open 20 Ramada Encore destinations over the next six years. AT Hotels will develop and manage the properties, which will offer 80 to 200 guestrooms.
