Retirement High Rise Added to Fort Worth Project

In a city where almost 20 percent of the residents are 55 or older, the developers of Trinity Terrace Continuing Care Retirement Community in Fort Worth, Texas, have revealed plans to build a second residential high-rise to its campus to join an already sold out tower that is currently under construction.

Financials on the plan were not disclosed.

The brand-new River Tower will join the City Tower (pictured), which is currently under construction. The River Tower is being developed by Pacific Retirement Services Inc. (PRS), a national not-for-profit leader in the senior living industry, of which Trinity Terrace is an affiliate.

The City Tower residences have a waiting list, company officials said, prompting the move to develop a new tower to meet the demand.

The River Tower will include a state-of-the-art health care center, skilled nursing and rehabilitation care in all private suites, plus enhanced new assisted living suites, another club lounge, and a new penthouse view dining room with a chef on staff.

PRS has been active in the investment side as well, recently acquiring the 470-residence Cypress Cove at HealthPark Florida, a CCRC in Fort Myers, Fla.

Pacific Retirement Services is a national not-for-profit corporation that develops, operates, manages and markets a family of 52 retirement communities and service organizations.
