The sixth of fourteen new-wave Borders bookstores has launched at Denver's Park Meadows Shopping Center, bringing high-def television monitors and "destination" stations where visitors can make their own customized music CDs. The 29,082-square-foot store also features the usual suite of books, music, movies, and magazines.
"We wanted to update some of our stores beyond the usual refreshers," Borders Midwest sales director Ken Belton told the Rocky Mountain News. The Park Meadows store is about 20 percent bigger than most Borders outlets. It will have its grand opening from May 30 to June 1.
