Gordon Food Service Buys Industrial Site

Gordon Food Service has purchased two sites totaling 135 acres of industrial land in Kenosha, Wis. The buyer plans to build a 480,000-square-foot freezer/cooler and dry storage distribution facility on the site. Located on the south side of Highway N and just northwest of the Kenosha County Airport, the site was annexed into the City of Kenosha from Somers. Kenosha is providing funding to complete significant infrastructure improvements, including roads and utilities. Gordon Food Service was represented by Grubb & Ellis Co.
