InStorage REIT Taps Kan for Senior Management Appointment

InStorage Real Estate Investment Trust has announced that Judy Kan has been appointed senior vice president for investments. Kan's responsibilities will include acquisitions, asset management and debt strategy. Prior to joining InStorage, Kan was with a a major Canadian hotel REIT. She has twenty years of commercial real estate experience in the office, industrial, retail, residential and hotel sectors, including lending, pension fund management and asset management.

The firm based the conclusion on its proprietary database, which tracks transactions $10 million deals and above. In the first quarter 2008 transaction volume was relatively stronger at $3.4 billion.
