Westin Book Cadillac Detroit to Reopen in November

Detroit's Book-Cadillac Hotel is set to reopen in the fall as Westin Book Cadillac Detroit after closing its doors to the public almost 25 years ago, Detroit Free Press reported.
The hotel plans to hold grand-opening festivities in October, and begin taking room reservations on November 1 for stays starting on November 15. Opened in 1924, the Book-Cadillac operated for six decades under various owners as Detroit's leading hotel. The renovation deal includes the creation of about 67 condominiums on the upper floors, more than 50 of which have been presold.
