Buchanan Street in New Bay Area Contracts

Buchanan Street Partners has announced that it has been awarded investment management contracts from three commingled real estate investment funds that were formerly managed by San Francisco-based investment advisors, Maier Siebel Baber, an affiliate of Bank of America Corp. The advisory contracts include the management of three funds: M&S Real Property Fund II, M&S Real Property Fund IV and M&S Real Property Fund V. These have have invested in a number of significant office properties located in Phoenix, Salt Lake City, Denver, and San Antonio. The office properties involved in the transaction have an estimated combined value in excess of $175 million with a total square footage of over 1.2 million. The advisory contract allowed Buchanan to hire nine key employees from the MSB team, including Hamilton Kipp and Tina Mizukami, who will work out of the firm’s San Francisco office.
