TICA Honors Members

The Tenant-In-Common Association--TICA--has awarded four members its annual A Champion of Excellence--ACE--award. The awards were presented recently at the organization's fourth annual conference at the Bellagio Hotel in Las Vegas.

According to TICA, ACE Awards “recognize members who exemplify the vision of TICA and its Code of Ethics.” This year's round of awards was the second for the organization.

The winners of the ACE Award included Passco Companies L.L.C., which was awarded the sponsor organization ACE Award. The broker/dealer ACE Award was given to OMNI Brokerage Inc., and Jim Shaw of CapHarbor received the registered representative ACE Award. Darryl Steinhause of Luce Forward Hamilton & Scripps LLP won the affiliate category ACE Award, which was new to the ACE Awards this year.

TICA is the trade association for fractional-ownership industry, formed in 2003. The event at the Bellagio was attended by about 1,200 of the leading registered representatives, broker/dealers, sponsors, attorneys, CPAs and other real estate professionals interested in TIC deals.
