36,100-SF Pre-Lease Adds to Tenant Roster at 436,000-SF Houston Office Project

A two-building spec office project totaling 436,000 square feet at the 150-acre Westway Park office campus in Houston continues to grab attention, as developer Dienna Nelson Augustine Co. secures another commitment for the project. Düsseldorf, Germany-headquartered Vallourec & Mannesmann Tubes Corp. has signed on to occupy 36,100 square feet at DNA Westway II, a 10-story office tower that will feature 250,000 square feet of Class A space. The second segment of the project consists of DNA Westway III, which will offer 186,300 square feet in a three-story building. Both buildings are being designed to meet LEED Silver certification standards. GE Oil & Gas has also pre-leased space at the development and will move into its new digs in January, as will Vallourec. Transwestern represented the property owner in the transaction, while Jones Lang LaSalle stood in for the tenant. With the ink dry on the global steel tube producer's lease, the two DNA Westway buildings have an aggregate 270,000 square feet left up for grabs.
