First Potomac Realty Signs 172,000SF Renewal with Smoot Lumber in Alexandria

First Potomac Realty Trust has signed a renewal lease with Stock Building Supply Inc. for approximately 172,000 square feet at 6295 Edsall Road in the firm’s Plaza 500 property located in Alexandria, Va. Smoot Lumber is the lead tenant at Plaza 500, occupying over a third of the property. This renewal will extend their tenancy at Plaza 500 to 2017. The property has access to I-95, I-395, and I-495. This property consists of two, single-story buildings, totaling approximately 504,000 square feet on 34 acres of land. Plaza 500 is home to fifteen tenants and is currently fully leased.
