Telkonet Appoints Sobieski as COO
July 2, 2008

Telkonet Inc. has appointed Jeff Sobieski as chief operating officer. Formerly executive vice president of Energy Management, Sobieski has been with Telkonet since March 2007 and is taking over as COO following Dottie Cleal's resignation in May. In his new role, Sobieski will work out of Telkonet's offices in both Germantown and Milwaukee. Prior to joining Telkonet, he was chief information officer at EthoStream, which he co-founded with Jason Tienor in 2002.

Manhattan District Attorney Robert Morgenthau has brought down NYC real-estate investor Adam Hochfelder, according to news reports. The DA arrested and charge Hochfelder with allegedly bilking associates and banks out of more than $17 million.  The most serious charge, grand larceny, for lying on and forging various documents, could earn him a whopping return--25 years in jail. The 37-year-old was chairman & CEO of Max Capital Management Corp.
