United Rentals Taps DeWitt as VP, CIO

United Rentals Inc. today announced that Kenneth DeWitt has been appointed vice president and chief information officer, effective immediately. DeWitt brings more than 15 years of executive experience to the position. Prior to joining United Rentals, he served as senior vice president and chief information officer for Retail Venture Services Inc., formerly Value City Department Stores Inc., the parent company of Filene’s Basement and DSW Shoes.
